Christmas...

When i was younger, to me Christmas was only about the presents that i recieved. Though i have been brought up with Christian values, my mum and dad always stressed that i was able to believe what i want and sadly Jesus and God was not this. Part of me wants be believe that we all go somewhere when we die, that we rest with the people we've sadly lost, but i find it difficult to do so.

Slowly as ive gotten older i enjoy christmas so much much and i appriciate what i get. But what i love the most is being able to spend time with my family. We all have busy lives, jobs etc and i gets hard to see my family as often as i want to, so on occasions like Christmas i take every opportunity to spend it with the people i love the most. i think we all reach a certain age where we realise what is important :)

Arghhhhhh! ive had my first tattoo!

Ive been wanting a tattoo for so long. I love them! My mum has tattoos and it was only a matter of time before i had one too. I made sure that i was 100% about what i wanted. I dont like silly tattoos that people have, like Tweety Pie or Mini Mouse, if they have a meaning to you then go ahead. I love tattoos which tell a stroy.

Both my mum & I had the same tattoo saying "I am not afraid, i was born to do this", it is a Joan of Arc qoute. It has a different meaning to both of us but i think its special that we've both had it.



I know people have different experiences with having tattoos, but i expected the pain to be soooo bad and it suprisingly wasn't! I actually enjoyed it, my arm got pins and needles and went a little numb.

I have a feeling this wont be my last! :):)

FoxyLocks have arrived!!!

After about a week & a half, my extentions have arrived from Fockylocks! Ive have been wearing hair extentions for about 3/4 years and ive gone through quite a few packs and brands. As my hair is very thick, i always struggle to get hair extentions thick enough and end up buying 2 packets.



When i heard about the 'Deluxe' hair extentions by FoxyLocks which were perfect for thick hair, i knew i had to have them! I've watched and read so many reviews whist waiting for mine to arrive and its just made me even more excited! I ordered the Deluxe 20" clip in Remy human hair extentions in the colour Jet black 1.

I cant get over how soft the hair is, it feels lovely! There wasnt as much hair as id expected but there is a lot. I havnt had my previous extentions too long so ive paired them with the FoxyLocks and my hair is now exactly like i want. I love it! I now have big hair without tonnes of backcombing!

I am really happy with theses extentions and would definatly re-purcase i need be.

Everyday Make-up

This is the make-up that i wear most days. I change my routine if im going out somewhere at night, but for college this is the make-up i use.

Simple Kind to skin moisturiser
I use this about 5 minutes before i apply my foundation. Its a nice hydrating moisturiser because my skin can get quite dry, especially in the winter.


L'oreal Paris True Match
I've tried so many foundations but i think ive finally found one which im planning on sticking with. I use L'oreal True match in the colour 'C1 rose ivory'. This is the lightest colour within the range. Its a medium to full coverage so perfect for hiding any blemishes. Rather than being cakey you end up with a nice dewy finish. It is very easy to work with, and like it says on the bottle, it is very blendable!


Max Factor Bronzing Powder
When i first used this bronzer i was shocked at how good it was. Id previously used mac but at the time when it ran out, i was low on funds and turned to a drug store product.
As my face is not shiny once ive applied my foundation i dont use a setting power of any sort, just a brozer and blusher. This bronzer is just right for my pale skin colour. Nobody wants an orange face and white neck! It has a light shimmer to it which gives a nice summer glow all year.

Mac Blush - Pink Swoon
This blush was suggested to me by the lady in the mac store- I love this blush, although its very bright, its buildable as its a Sheertone. You get a subtle but noticable colour which gives a very soft warm flush to the cheeks. My favourite blush ever!


Eylure Strip Lashes
Eylure lashes are by far my favourite. They are easy to apply and the styles range from natural feathery lashes to Katie Price flutters. Depending on the look im going for i often wear more than one pair. But for college i wear the 120's. My eyelashes are quite long anyway but when i use mascara i like the spider legs look and it takes me ages to achive what i want, so applying lashes is miles easier for me.

Mac Lipglass - C-Tru
Finally i splash on a bit of my C-Tru and im done. I like the whole nude lips thing. :)

Cher Lloyd?

Am i they only teenage girl who thinks Cher is amazing? From her first audition i fell in LOVE with her. Her funky twists to songs make them bang up to date! She's fresh and something different. HipHop & Rap is something ive grown up listening to, id say i listen to a wide range of music but HipHop is 'me'. She's showing the country exactly whats needed in the music market. & to people saying she cannot sing, did you see her perform 'Stay'? Wow, that blew me away!! My Favourite Cher Performance along with 'Turn my swag on'

Christmas wishlist :)

Whenever it gets to December and my mum asks what id like for christmas, im always clueless! Ive just had my birthday and gotten overthing i want. So i then have to rack my brains for things i want & need. At the moment there's only a few things i can think, so i thought if share them with you!

1.

This is my favourite purfume of alllll time, and trust me, if tried a lot! i found i really do not suit floral perfumes. I find it difficult to describe the type of scent this is. Id say its a musty but soft indistict smell, when first sprayed it is slighty over powering but slowly fades to a wearable, sexy scent. i go through bottles and bottles of this and im in need of some now!

2.

Lauren Conrads style is something i've always looked at for inspiration.. She can rock anything with her casual style- Skinny jeans paired with amazing shoes and as always she looks stunning. Whether this is advice on style or just a run through of her wardrobe, im sure this will be a good boxing day read!

3.

Id say the whole MAC and Gaga craze is finally over. When it was first released i was just as excited as eveybody else, but my local Selfriges was sold out for way too long, so i settled with Sait Germain which was a close match. Ive now decided i want the Gaga lipglass to add to my collection :)

4.

Its safe to say, fur has never been 'my thing'- for some reason ive always thought it looked cheap. But since the whole fur coat craze i think im starting to change my views. This cream fur hooded coat is amazing & i neeeeed it in my life :) -ive looked in a lots of places for a hooded one as most have the big collars. This is definately 'me' :) -from River Island.

5.

I NEED these in my life!!!!

Im no expert on music but i know what i like and what i dont. I've tried an awful lot of headphones and i still havnt found anything spectacular . Right now, due to time, money and effort im stuck with the original Apple in-ear headphones that came with my iPod and iPhone and for now, they'll do.

Ive been looking for a pair of Beats for way to long, i've considered the Diddy's and the Gagas but I saw the Solo's and knew i had to have them! Any Over-Ear headphones offer a far better quality of sound and block any outside noise also. Ive read reviews after reviews on them and ive finally decided there what i want to try next. The stylish look of the headphones is something i look for too. Im sure going to try them out before i buy, they are a little pricey at £169.99 but when it comes down to my music and want nothing less than perfection.

Even if Father Christmas only brings me these headphones, ill be a happy girl on Christmas day!! :)

SNOW DAYYYYY! 2/12/10

Whenever it snows over here, the whole country goes to pot! Schools close, people cant get to work and its a good excuse for a nice day off.
My college closed Wednesday & Thursday so i snuggled under my quilt and watched films :)

Thurdays, i look after my baby cousin. She's just tured 10 months and shes beautiful.
She's a pleasure to mind and always happy.

Key103- JingleBall

I went to the Jingle Ball at the MEN on wednesday, my boyfriend got me tickets for my birthday and i've been excited about it for ages.

I LOVE JASON DERULO!! i was most looking forward to seeing him, i was secretly wishing he might ask to marry me but that didnt happen this time :)

Ndubz & The Script were both amazing, just as i expected, but the one who suprised me was James Blunt! Every single person in the MEN was stood up, clapping, waving their arms and singing along to 'Your Beautiful'. The atmosphere was crazyyyy!

wow, after an all day psychology conference, its safe to say im tired :(

the snow has now covered Manchester and i love it! Its says on the news that we're set for even more snow too, im secretly hoping it will snow so much that i cant even get out of the door so i get a snow day off college :)


ive just got all snug on my sofa waiting for Hollyoaks whilst i catch up on a bit of Graphics work.

First Post!!!

wow, my first blog post. finally.

this is something ive wanted to do for a while but due to time and effort ive never bothered. whos going to want to read about my life? but ill give it a go.

To make sure i get into the habbit of posting regularly, im going to write 7 daily posts. Either about my day, a review or a random blab.
